SOMETHING BLUE – A Styled Shoot at Morley Old Hall
As a photographer, I’m always inspired by thoughtful details and beautiful collaborations, and this “Something Blue” styled shoot at Morley Old Hall was exactly that.
Working alongside an incredible team of local suppliers, we brought together a vision centred around elegant blue tones—ranging from soft, romantic shades to bold, statement hues. Loubear Events created a beautifully refined tablescape, perfectly complemented by the natural, textured florals from The Enchanted Willow. Backdrop Boutique’s flower wall added a stunning focal point and the perfect backdrop to capture those editorial-style moments.
One of my favourite elements to photograph was the striking makeup by Lyndsay Hudson, incorporating bold blues in such a creative, high-fashion way. Paired with soft, polished styling by Lea Matthews from Lovelea Hair and the gorgeous gowns from Glamorous Gowns in Wymondham, every detail felt cohesive and inspiring.
Cathy and Elly were an absolute dream to photograph, bringing elegance and personality to every frame and truly elevating the overall look and feel of the shoot.
This was such a special collaboration and a perfect example of what can be achieved when talented creatives come together with a shared vision. “Something Blue” was all about timeless inspiration with a modern, editorial edge—and I loved capturing every moment of it.
