Combining my love of photographing ice hockey and portraits, I wanted to capture the players’ personalities, not just their skating ability….and so, the ‘Sportrait’ project was born.

Inspired by the work of American photographer, Joel Grimes (go check out his work, it’s amazing!), I started asking the sportsmen and women I regularly photograph to sit for me. My project is ongoing…
