Cinderella-Inspired Styled Shoot at Morley Old Hall

The inspiration for this Cinderella fairytale styled shoot actually began during a visit to my friend Laura’s bridal boutique, where I spotted a sparkly blue prom gown hanging on the rail. I instantly fell in love—it reminded me of Cinderella’s iconic dress worn by Lily James in the movie, and from that moment, the vision for this shoot was born.

At the heart of the shoot was that very gown from Glamorous Gowns in Wymondham—our own take on the fairytale look. The gown, the slippers – Cathy brought the vision to life beautifully, especially in my favourite image of her running up the driveway at Morley Old Hall. Can’t lie, I wanted to swap places with her, Cinderella was my favourite childhood fairytale!

The blue theme carried through every detail, from the striking smokey blue eye by Lyndsay Hudson to the soft, romantic hair styling by Lea Matthews. Set against the timeless backdrop of Morley Old Hall, everything came together to create a look that felt cinematic with just a sprinkle of fairy dust!
