Booking/session fee

Session fees are payable at time of  booking and are non-refundable. Once your session fee has been received, your booking will be secured in the diary.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation, I will gladly re-schedule your session if notice of 24 hours is given.  Cancellations do have an impact on my diary, therefore, session fees are non-refundable, but can be used towards a rescheduled session in the event of an emergency with 24 hours notice given. If the photographer is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to a fire, flood or other casualty, act of God, or other cause beyond control of the parties, or due to grave illness of the photographer, then all fees paid by the client will be returned in full. Trish Thompson Photography is not liable for costs in excess of the amount the client has paid. This limitation of liability will also apply in the event that digital images are lost through camera malfunction, stolen, damaged in processing or otherwise damaged or lost without fault of Trish Thompson Photography.

Images

Every effort will be made to provide the number of images specified in your package, however this may not always be possible due to the willingness and unpredictability of subjects. Trish Thompson Photography will use its own judgement regarding the style and artistic input in the production of pictures. This includes poses and number of images taken. Due to the unpredictability of babies and children it may not be possible to capture all the pictures requested, or images to the clients’ full expectations. In the event of uncooperative children, for any reason, this may mean that I may not be able to capture any, or all the images the Client may have requested or expected. The Client is responsible for all children at all sessions. In the event that images are damaged or lost through camera or computer malfunction Trish Thompson Photography will re-take the session whenever possible or refund the cost of the session fee if this is not possible.

Copyright

Copyright is retained by Trish Thompson Photography at all times. It is a violation of copyright law to allow photographs printed by Trish Thompson Photography to be reprinted, duplicated, scanned, digitally reproduced or altered in any form whatsoever without the prior written consent of Trish Thompson Photography. This includes saving, screen grabbing, and downloading from Facebook or any other social media. Clients may tag or ‘share’ their sneak peek images on Facebook,  but please do not save, copy or alter in any way, please do not remove my watermark/logo from the image. Permission to reproduce a picture for personal use (not commercial) will be granted to the client by Trish Thompson Photography ONLY when digital images are purchased and paid in full by the client to Trish Thompson Photography. A print release form will be given to the client when digital images are purchased. In the event that clients wish to show their purchased digital images on Facebook or any other social media then it must be clearly identified as Images taken by Trish Thompson Photography. Failure to do so is breach of copyright.

Model Release

Trish Thompson Photography retains all rights in all cases to use any pictures for the purpose of display, advertising, portfolio, industry competitions, publication or promotion of its work.

Electronic Devices

Cameras, mobile phones cameras and camcorders are not permitted during sessions. All calls need to be taken outside the studio.

The client agrees to relay the details of this contract to all subjects involved in the session.
