Aerobatics, vintage planes and transport, historical re-enactors and a fabulous 1940’s style swing trio – just some of the amazing attractions at this year’s Old Buckenham Air Show.
As the official Air Show photographer, I got to capture all the excitement of this fun packed two day family event.
Stars and Stripes; Old Buckenham has a fascinating history, it was home to the 453rd Bombardment Group, who were based at the airfield during WWII.
Hundreds of classic cars were displayed by their proud owners
Not a greasy burger van to be found – The Food Village offered locally produced quality food.
Lots of fun activities for all the family – fancy a tank ride?!

The P-51D Mustang ‘The Shark’. Built in 1945, this aircraft starred alongside the B-17 ‘Sally B’ in the Hollywood movie, Memphis Belle.
Wymondham 1986 Squadron Air Training Corps marshalling the event again this year, what a fantastic job these guys do.

The VIP marquee looked stunning once again. Food provided by the award winning Brasted’s catering and events company.
