Railway steps back in time…

Stepping back in time with the Mid-Norfolk Railway’s 1940’s Railway At War Weekend; a nostalgic family event filled with re-enactment groups, living history displays, period stalls, military vehicles and themed stations.

Last year’s event saw Hardingham Station transformed back to 1944 and under the occupation of German Forces.

Dress up in period costume and take a ride on the Mid-Norfolk Railway from East Dereham to Wymondham Abbey, passing through Yaxham, Thuxton, Hardingham and Kimberley Park along the way.

This year’s event takes place on 4th-5th August, for details check out the Mid-Norfolk Railway website www.mnr.org.uk/events/1940s
